IV Training

IV Therapy & IV Skills Training

Focused instruction for healthcare professionals building confidence in peripheral vascular access, infusion safety, and patient-centered technique.

Overview

Our IV training is designed for clinicians who want deliberate, hands-on practice rather than lecture alone. Sessions emphasize anatomy, site selection, aseptic technique, and troubleshooting the situations that actually happen at the bedside.

Instruction is led by a registered nurse whose background spans ICU, pre-operative, and post-anesthesia care — settings where vascular access is routine and precision matters.

Content is scoped to each participant's scope of practice and the requirements of their employer or licensing body.

Anatomy & assessment

Vein selection, patient assessment, and identifying access challenges before the first attempt.

Hands-on practice

Supervised repetition on training equipment with individualized coaching and feedback.

Safety & complications

Recognizing infiltration, phlebitis, and other events — plus the correct response to each.

Professional practice

Charting, hand-off communication, and working within your licensure and facility policy.
